Diane Guidebeck

Hello! I’m Diane. I’m so glad you are here. I am an experienced landscape designer and educator. I’ve been creating low-maintenance and low-water and native landscape designs since 1999.

I am the founder of Cinnamon Fern Environmental Design & Construction. A professor at Cape Cod Community College since 2013 — teaching horticulture. I’m also the Chairperson of the Upper Cape Technical School Horticulture Advisory Committee.

I have self-published the book Xeriscaping for New England. Xeriscaping is all about creating gardens without the need for irrigation. Find out more at my blog.

Since starting Cinnamon Fern in 1999, I have spent many years learning and I continue to learn. I have used this knowledge for residential and commercial landscape design. I also pass this knowledge in teaching from college-level to continuing ed to lectures at garden clubs to environmental conferences.
